Amilguinhomóvel

The Amilguinhomóvel project (Amil's Little Friend on-wheels) works on the basis of a medical attention unit structured on a bus, aiming at bringing health to children aged from 2 to 12 on a runabout basis. The program provides these kids with dental consultations, education on preventive buccal medicine, lectures on overall health and ophthalmic treatment. The project relies on a team consisting of an ophthalmologist, psychologist and a dentist plus volunteers from Amil. The project is focused on city-run schools and at needy institutions.
