"Saúde Nota 1000" Project

The "Saúde Nota 1000" Project (Grade 1000 Health) was set up in 1998 to extend to students and teaching institutions the concept of prevention in health, along with basic notions of first aid. The initiative consists of visits to public and private schools in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, where we hold 4 hours of activities, passing on knowledge and teaching how to proceed in an emergency until the arrival of a qualified professional. Since its implementation, the project has run up an average of 1000 attendances per year.
